The Outdoorly project, developed as part of a group endeavor during the Passerelle 2023 program at HSLU D&K MA Digital Ideation, represents a pioneering venture into the integration of interactive design and artificial intelligence for enhancing outdoor experiences. The project aimed to create a user-centric application that leverages the OpenAI API through ChatGPT to provide personalized outdoor activity suggestions. Through rigorous prototyping and user experience testing, the team navigated the challenges of balancing programming integration with design. A critical component of "Outdoorly" was its innovative use of CSS for aesthetic alignment and functionality, ensuring a seamless interface between the app and its users. This endeavor not only highlighted the potential of AI in interactive design but also marked a significant learning curve for the team in utilizing collaborative tools like GitHub and Figma, thereby setting a foundation for future digital ideation projects.
